India: Melting scrap prices increase by up to INR 500/t ($7)
Melting scrap prices moved up by INR 100-500/t d-o-d across major Indian markets. Positive trends and healthy transactions in semi-finished and improved buying inquiries in finished long steel particularly in rebar pushed prices higher, trade associates reported to SteelMint. It is expected that near term prices may remain range-bound without any major changes.
