According to the latest custom data,Taiwan flat steel exports which includes 7208 (HR coils /Plates),7209 (CR coils),7225 (Electrical sheets),7210/7212(GP/GC) have showed increase of 17%, M-o-M basis to 0.69 MnT in Jul’17 against 0.59 MnT in Jun’17.
However,on yearly basis nation’s flat steel exports registered downfall by 6% in Jul’17 compared to Jul’16. In Jul’16 the same stood at 0.73 MnT.
During first seven months of CY17,Taiwan flat steel exports decrease marginally by 2% to 4.88 MnT against 4.97 MnT in similar time-frame of previous year.

Vietnam was the largest importer of flat steel to Taiwan– Vietnam occupied 15% of share in Jan-Jul’17 and become the major importer of flat steel from Taiwan.Other major buyers of Taiwan flat steel were China imported 14% of share,Japan at 11% followed by Malaysia 10% and United States at 8%.
