Coal India sets a target of 464 mn tonne for FY13

Coal India has reset its FY12 target at 440 mn tn, and plans to achieve it in the next three months. The company's original target for FY12 was 447 mt. In an interview with Bloomberg UTV, company's CMD NC Jha said that from the beginning of the year, Coal India has got good support from the railways for meeting this target. The company sees peak production from November to March, Jha added. He further said that the company's average rate loading is up by 16 rakes a day.
