According to the latest customs data, Japan flat steel imports which includes 7208 (HR coils /Plates), 7209 (CR coils), 7225 (Electrical sheets), 7210/7212(GP/GC) reported the growth of 5%,M-o-M basis to 0.4 MnT in Jul’17 against to 0.38 MnT in Jun’17.
On yearly basis, nation’s flat steel imports surged by whopping 29% in Jul’17 in comparison with 0.31 MnT recorded in Jul’16.
Although in the duration of Jan-Jul’17 nation’s flat steel imports surged significantly by 11.4% to 2.63 MnT against 2.36 MnT in similar time frame of previous year.
