CIL has announced that the third tranche of coal linkage auction for non-regulated sector will commence from 31 Aug’17. The auction would be held exclusive for cement sub-sector under the non-regulated sector.
CIL has offered a total quantity of 0.5 MnT per annum for the first phase of Tranche-III linkage auction, which will be supplied from CIL’s Western Coalfields Ltd (WCL), Southern Coalfields Ltd (SECL), and Mahanadi Coalfields Ltd (MCL) subsidiaries.

CIL has invited prospective consumers, who have not yet register, to register for auction process from 18 Aug’17 onwards and is also going to conduct meeting with the consumers on 28 Aug’17 regarding auction process at CIL headquarters in Kolkata.
