According to the latest custom data,Taiwan flat steel exports which includes 7208 (HR coils /Plates),7209 (CR coils), 7225 (Electrical sheets),7210/7212(GP/GC) have reported the decline of 20% M-o-M basis to 0.59 MnT in Jun’17 against 0.74 MnT in May’17.
However,on yearly basis nation’s flat steel exports fell down by 18% in Jun’17 compared to Jun’16. In Jun’16 the same stood at 0.72 MnT.
In H1CY17 (Jan-Jun) of 2017,Taiwan flat steel exports decrease marginally by 1.17% to 4.19 MnT against 4.24 MnT in similar time-frame of previous year.

Country-wise Taiwan flat steel exports in H1CY’17– China remained the largest importer of flat steel from Taiwan and procured 0.60 MnT of flat steel in H1CY17 Other major buyers were Vietnam,Japan followed by Malaysia and United States.
