Power, cement, and Steel Industry comes together to oppose Coal India new pricing

Coal India new pricing system got strong opposition from consumers across the country. Steel and Cement Industry said fuel cost is now up by 70%. 
Power sector said tariff would be rise by 40% to factor in the price hike. NTPC Coal India largest consumer expects 60-70% impact on tariff. 

Industry representative from Chhattisgarh, Karnataka, Jharkhand, West Bengal, Orissa and Andhra Pradesh met coal secretary Alok Perti. 

Coal India official said even after revision coal price would be 77% lower than international price.
