According to Russian customs data, flat steel exports which includes (7208 – HR coils/Plates,7209 – CR coils, 7210, 7212 GP/GC and 7225 electrical sheets) reported hike of 8% in H1CY17 to 4.9 MnT in contrast to 4.54 MnT in similar time span of previous year.
On yearly basis, Russia flat steel exports has moved down marginally by 1.2% in Jun’17 against Jun’16. In Jun’16 country’s flat steel exports stood at 0.81 MnT.
However on monthly basis, nations flat steel exports continues to remain on same levels of 0.82 MnT.

Country-wise Russia Flat Steel Exports in H1 CY17-Turkey was the major importer of flat steel and has imported 1.7 MnT in H1CY17. Other major flat steel importers from Russia in were Belarus, Egypt,Kazakhstan,Iran and Italy.
