Met Coke exports from China have exhibited a rising trend. During Jun’17, the exports from the country totaled around 069 MnT, over taking the exports of around 0.62 MnT in May’17 by 11.2%.
The rise in the exports was a consequence of stronger demand in the countries of export due to active steel making.
A break-up of the countries of export shows that the exports during the month were the highest to India, followed by Japan and South Africa.
The exports during the month had increased to most of the countries in comparison with that in the previous month.

During the Jan-Jun’17 period, around 4.1 MnT of Met Coke was exported from China.
