Indian steel billet prices remain unchanged on low production across India and high raw material cost.
Market traders report that most of the billet manufacturers have cut their output or stopped production on high raw material cost.
“Prices are stable on low output and higher raw material cost. It might sustain for sometime. Though strong rupee will give some relief to manufacturers as scrap imports will be cheaper.” said a trader based in Mumbai.
