According to the customs data, Indian ferro manganese witnessed no changes in its export volume in Apr’17 at 0.02 MnT, similar to the quantity exported in Mar’17.
However, on yearly basis, Ferro Manganese registered a massive increase of 100% in its export volume in Apr’17 against 0.01 MnT in Apr’16.
United Arab Emirates remained the largest importer of Indian Ferro Manganese at 5,522 MT in Apr’17, registering an increase of 55% M-o-M against 3,555 MT in Mar’17. Indonesia and Italy were the second and third largest importers of India Ferro Manganese in Apr’17.

Indian Ferro Manganese market has recently been very quiet as participants are still cautious and waiting for clear direction. Though producers are bullish but demand has failed to improved as was anticipated.
