Rashtriya Ispat Nigam Limited (RINL), also known as Vizag Steel has issued a tender for export of 15,000 MT billets and 25,000 MT bloom followed by other steel products.
In the tender issued, delivery of the material is scheduled up to 31 Aug’17. Bidders can keep their offer firm and valid for acceptance by RINL till 25 Jul’17.
Bidders have the option to quote for shipment either at Vizag port or Ganagavaram port.

Length: The length of the billets and blooms will be 12 meters.

Tender schedule (IST): Due date for submitting the offer is 18 Jul’17 till 11:00 hrs.
Billet export offers continue to increase – Export offers in global market continued its increase. Indian billet export offers for 3 SP billets are hovering at around USD 415-420/MT FOB India for 150*150mm and USD 420-425/MT, FoB for 5 SP billets. Export offers may increase further on rising global prices , less supply of Chinese billets and rise in global scrap offers.
Chinese billet trade activities continue to remain less owing to higher prices and are assessed at USD 440-445/MT, FoB China.
Black Sea billet export offers have hit one year high. Last week few deals have been reported at a level of USD 410-415/MT FOB Black Sea, which are largely made to Egypt and Turkey at USD 430-435/MT CFR levels.
