MS billet prices corrected on weak demand

Indian Billet prices corrected over Rs 200-300/t on weak demand and falling steel prices in futures and physical market.

Market traders report Steel Mint that demand has dried out and if it remains for next few days then billet prices might correct over Rs 1,000/t.

” Manufacturers offer Rs 32400-600/t ex- factory prices in Raipur, but no deals have been concluded at these prices.” said a billet broker based in Raipur.

” Billet rices hovering in Rourkela are at Rs 31200/t ex- factory, but no significant demand as buyers prefer to stay out” said a billet broker based in Rourkela.
