Market traders reported that Indian silicomanganese 65/16 export offers appreciate this week as a result of the Indian rupee appreciation and high production cost.
The current offers of the silicomanganese 65/16 is in the range of USD1,100-1,150/t FOB India. Players anticipate the price will hold for the next two months due to the cost pressure, but admits it is also hard for the price go up further unless the demand from export market will improve.
