Singareni Collieries Company Ltd (SCCL) has released its performance statistics for the month of Jun’17. The company has registered decline in monthly production and coal dispatches’ during the month.
Coal Production:
SCCL’s coal production stood 4.81 MnT in Jun’17, down by 4.8% M-o-M compared with 5.05 MnT in May’17. Coal production in Jun’17 was marginally higher than 4.76 MnT coal produced during Jun’16.
SCCL had set production target of 15.78 MnT for Apr’17-Jun’17, however the company had managed to achieve 91% of the set target, by producing 14.34 MnT during the said period.
Coal Dispatch:
SCCL’s coal dispatch also fell during the month. Total coal dispatch in Jun’17 was 4.97 MnT, lower by 5.3% M-o-M compared with 5.25 MnT in May’17. On the yearly basis, coal dispatches increased 10.9% compared with 4.48 MnT in Jun’16.
During Apr’17-Jun’17, SCCL has dispatched 15.59 MnT coal against 14.04 MnT dispatched during Apr’16-Jun’16. However, the company failed to meet its coal dispatch target of 16.95 MnT for Apr’17-Jun’17 period.
