MS billets prices in India noticed an upward trend after steel futures on NCDEX gained 400 points on Monday evening.
Billet prices which corrected over Rs 700-800 last week have also gained some spark on fresh buying seen in steel long (Re-bar) by stockist and traders.
“Billet manufacturers at Raipur are quoting Rs 32200-300/MT, whereas, manufacturers in Raigarh quote at Rs 31,500-600/MT”
It is reported that a big manufacturer in Cuttack concluded a deal at Rs 31,500++ to a buyer based in Durgapur.” traders told SteelMint
