MS ingot prices across India have noticed a strong rally in last two days. Market traders report SteelMint that improved demand from Ghaziabad and Muzzafarnagar (U.P.) has kept the prices firm.
“Demand is pretty strong from steel plants based in Uttar Pradesh on short supply of scrap, and it will remain same till the election gets over”, said a steel trader based in Ghaziabad.
“Improved buying from Gaziabad and other cities in UP have kept the Ingot and sponge iron prices stable in Raigarh.We have sold over 500 MT in the past few days” said an Ingot manufacturer in Raigarh (CG)
