According to the latest custom data,Taiwan flat steel exports which includes 7208 (HR coils /Plates),7209 (CR coils), 7225 (Electrical sheets),7210/7212(GP/GC) have registered the decline of 5.3%,M-o-M basis to 0.71 MnT in Apr’17 against 0.75 MnT in Mar’17.
However,on yearly basis nation’s flat steel exports remained stable at 0.71 MnT since last two months.
In first four months (Jan-Apr) of 2017,Taiwan flat steel exports reported an increase of 4% to 2.86 MnT against 2.76 MnT in similar time-frame of previous year.
Grade-Wise Analysis of Taiwan Flat Steel Exports: Apr’17 vs Mar’17-In Apr’17 Taiwan exported 0.39 MnT of HRC/Plates which is similar to the previous month.However galvanized steel export declined in the month of Apr’17.

Country-wise Taiwan flat steel exports in Apr’17- Vietnam remained the largest importer of flat steel from Taiwan in Apr’17 and imported 0.43 MnT. Other major buyers were China Japan followed by Malaysia and United states.
