Steel Authority of India Limited (SAIL), India’s largest steelmaker and produces variety of iron and steel products, invited a fresh tender for appointment of a conversion agent for Medium/Heavy Structural Steel near to Ghaziabad (U.P).
The tender will be kept valid for 90 days from the date of techno-commercial opening. Successful bidder will be appointed as the conversion agent (CA) initially for a period of 4 years, extendable by 1 year solely at the discretion of SAIL subject to satisfactory performance.
The conversion agent will have to rollover approximately 3,000 MT semi finished per month in to the structures – Channel 250/300 mm, Joist 250/300/350/400/450 mm & H Beam 152×152 mm.
Eligibility criteria:
1. Bidder should have a valid Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) license for manufacture of Channel 250/300 mm, Joist 250/300/350/400/450 mm & H Beam 152×152 mm.
2. The minimum average annual turnover of the bidder should be 1 crore and the net worth should be positive.
3. The supplies of Structural shall be in straight length, finished materials shall be supplied in length from 11.5 to 12.50 meters as per the market requirements.
4. The firm/Company should be registered with GST authorities.
