Pig Iron prices might
remain stable as both production and demand is low, said traders. Steel Grade
Pig Iron prices in Vizag trading at Rs. 24,500/MT and Raipur at Rs. 27,300/MT
remain same, whereas prices in Jajpur went down by Rs. 500/MT.
Steel Grade Pig Iron
is currently trading at Rs. 25,900/MT in Durgapur, i.e. prices went up by Rs.
200/MT whereas production of Foundry Grade Pig Iron has come to a halt for the
time-being as sales were very low. Prices in Durgapur likely to be range bound,
said brokers.
