Korea Southern Power Co Ltd (KOSPO) has invited a tender for purchase of 320,000 MT low calorific Value steam coal. Each bidder is requested to offer Min. 80,000MT.
The shipment is scheduled in 2H July ~ Early August, 2017 and the price terms shall be one fixed price (USD) FOBT basis.
The offer price will remain valid for 3 business days from the date of tender closing. KOSPO may request the bidder to extend the validity period of the bid, if necessary.
Specification
Total moisture (as received basis): 43% max
Fixed carbon (air dried basis): 60% max
Ash (air dried basis): 4.5% max
Net calorific value (as received basis): 3,700 kcal/kg min
Ash fusion temperature: 1,050°C
Upon request by KOSPO, bidder shall provide relevant supporting documents including certificates, issued by the relevant authorities of the exporting country, to demonstrate the legal status and current situation of the coal mine from which the coal would be supplied.

The due date for bid submission is 16 Jun’17 till 14:00 hrs.
