According to the provisional data maintained with SteelMint the iron ore exports from Australia, world’s largest exporter of iron ore have exported 72.7 MnT material in May’17. Compared with the quantity of 67.6 MnT last month it was up 8% for May’17.
China-The largest importer China with 61.6 MnT have imported more than 85% share of total exported iron ore from Australia in May’17,the Chinese iron ore imports from Australia were up by 14% compared to Apr’17. 
Japan– Japan imported 8% material with the quantity of 5.8 MnT in May’17 from Australia, which was down 17% compared to last month.
Other countries that have reduced the import for the month from Australia are Korea, Taiwan, Indonesia and Great Britain.

Port- Port Hedland exported maximum quantity with 62% material at 44.7 MnT material in May’17. Port Walcott exported 20% at 14.6 MnT material for the month.
