The domestic Met Coke market in India has been quiet with the domestic prices hovering at the week-ago rates.
OFFERS GO LOWER
Met Coke Offers from the key international market have gone further down on account of the decreasing Coking Coal prices.
The latest offer for the 64% CSR Met Coke is reported lower by USD 11.5/MT, at USD 278.50/MT CFR India, than that reported in the week last. The fresh offer for the 62% CSR Met Coke is reported at USD 275/MT CFR India, down by USD 9/MT from that the last week.

Sellers have quoted these offers at: USD 267/MT and USD 264/MT respectively on FoB China basis.
INDIAN PRICES STAY UNCHANGED
Indian producers have not revised their ex-works prices. There was, however, a slight improvement in the sluggish demand. Buyers seem to have started purchasing as there is very less prospect of the Coking Coal prices to decline to more significant levels. Some buyers also have procured to stock the material during the rainy season.
The ruling ex-works prices in India of the Blast Furnace grade are at: INR 21,500/MT (east coast) and INR 21,000/MT, INR 23,000/MT, INR 24,000/MT, INR 26,000/MT (west coast).
