Coal export prices at South Africa's Richards Bay, the
continent's biggest terminal for shipping the fuel, rose for a second week.
Prices moved up by $1.27, or 1.2 percent, to reach
$106.11/MT in the week ended Feb. 24, according to IHS McCloskey data on
Bloomberg. The rise in prices is the second highest rise since Jan. 27 2012.
The price is quoted on a free-on-board (FOB) basis, which excludes
delivery costs.
