Arcelor Mittal, South
Africa, said that it would cut the
prices for some of its flat steel products by between 2.5% and 5.4% from March 2012.
The reduction in prices
for some particular galvanized products will be at an average of 4.8% and that
for plate products will go down by an average of 5.4%, announced Mittal.
Hot rolled and cold
rolled products prices will be cut by an average of 2.5%, he added.
A unit of the world's
top steelmaker, Arcelor Mittal also stated that its prices for long products
will remain same.
