Exchange Steel billet contract prices saw a sharp fall on Thursday March 1,
with few trades taking place.
The three-month official prices fell by $15/MT to reach $520/525/MT
on Thursday.
Prices had witnessed
a slight increase on Wednesday i.e. on February 29 due to a slight pick-up in
trading activities. However, prices couldn't sustain long and they fell back on Thursday.
The official cash bid/offer spread was $516/520 on Wednesday
which fell to $ 493-495/MT on Thursday.
