Structure prices across India jumped by Rs 500-800/t in last few days over higher ingot and scrap prices though demand has been low said market traders.
” Demand has not been up to the mark in proportion to price hike, buyers are unwilling to procure at current levels. But higher ingot & scrap prices have kept structure prices intact.
Angle of 40*6 mm is hovering around Rs 36700-800/t (Ex-works, Basic prices)” said a structure broker based in Raipur.
Structure prices in Mumbai also moved up but off take has been slow reported steel traders in Mumbai.
