Two cargos that have been booked are the deals between:
- Hansen with KOC for a cargo containing HMS (80:20) at an average rate of USD 272/MT, Shredded at an average rate of USD 277/MT and Bonus at an average rate of USD 282/MT.
- Another deal that has been heard is by EUROSCRAP and ICDAS for a cargo containing 23,500 tonne HMS (75:25), 16,000 tonne Shredded, 6,500 tonne bonus at an average rate of USD 272/MT.
Turkey’s bulk scrap buying continues to stock sufficient scrap feed before the festival of Ramadan as domestic demand for finished stays strong from the past few weeks which has increased the demand for scrap.
