There were several tenders in the market today. Australian Newman and MAC were reported at 145.50 and 141.50 respectively.
Newman’s was flat and the MAC tender was down $2 on the last reported results. A Brazilian mixed cargo of 62.75 fe fetched $142 where as the higher grade offering of 65.12 fe lump was reported to have sold at $155.10,
approximately $3 lower than the previous price for a similar cargo.
The only tender that was reported higher than its previous price was the PB fines, which went through at $143.50. Although up $1, this was still well below the 146 that the cargo was offered at.
