Structure prices gain marginally; demand still missing

The price of raw materials have shown an upward trend at
around Rs. 500/MT whereas the structure prices have not increased much as
compared to the raw material or semi-finished prices.

The demand for finished steel is weak, on account of which
the raw material and semi-finished prices have gone up. Chances are high that
prices will sustain if demand goes up.

“The structure prices have not increased much and prices are
not expected to go up in the near future  as demand will be low due to the festive week
of Indians,” said a manufacturer based
in Nagpur.

40*6 mm Angle price is seen to be trading at Rs. 39,000/pmt
in Nagpur.
