Korea Western Power Company Limited (KOWEPO) has published a tender for the purchase of 1.32 MnT steam coal for its TAEAN Power Plant, Korea. Deliveries of coal shall begin from September 2017 and shall continue thereafter for a period of Five years until December 2021.
The prices for the remaining Contract Years (CY2 ~ CY5) shall be determined by mutual agreement of the both parties

Net calorific value (as received basis): 5,200 kcal/kg min
Ash fusion temperature: 1,200°C min
Note:
1. Chinese and Far East Russian coal are not allowed in this tender.
2.Total Moisture is acceptable up to 18.5% max, if Ash content is equal to or less than 10%.
3.The quality of coal to be delivered shall be homogeneous.
4. When NCV is greater than 6,100kcal/kg, calorific bonus shall be applied up to 6,100kcal/kg
