Structure Manufacturers Continue to Keep Offers down W-o-W

Structure offers are down by INR 500-1,700/MT in domestic market over low demand.

The prices have fallen on the ground of weak sales as well steep corrections in semis prices. Notably, in a week duration domestic billet prices down by INR 2,000/MT.

“Stock level is very high in most of the plant over less demand, further fall in prices may possible in upcoming days” stated by a structure supplier in Raipur, Central India.

It should be noted during the week major prices correction is seen in Central India (Raipur) by INR 1,700/MT in light structure & in Heavy structures by INR 1,600/MT. Trade discount being heard in the market for heavy structures by INR 500-700/MT.

On account of poor demand, small and medium scale manufacturer of structure have decreased the price in Ghaziabad by INR 600/MT, Hyderabad by INR 1,500/MT, Mumbai by INR 1,100/MT, Ahmedabad by INR 500/MT and in Durgapur  by INR 1,000/MT W-o-W.

Light structure 40×40 mm Prices are assessed in Durgpaur at INR 31,750/MT, Ahmedabad at INR 31,500/MT, Mumbai at INR 31,700/MT, Raipur at INR 28,300/MT and in Hyderabad at INR 31,000/MT.

Heavy beam 200×100 mm offers are evaluated in Durgapur at INR 31,250/MT, Ghaziabad at INR 33,000/MT, Ahmedabad at INR 32,000/MT, Mumbai at INR 33,000/MT and in Raipur at INR 28,700/MT.

Meanwhile, 200×75 mm channel is being offered in Durgapur and Ghaziabad at INR 31,250/MT & INR 33,300/MT respectively.
