“Raipur Structure prices have
shown an uptrend as the plants in South are running out of raw materials and
finished stock on account of power cut. The Structure prices will continue to
move up till the above said situation in South comes to normal. Re-bar prices
in Raipur have also increased rapidly. Angle 40*6 is being offered at Rs.38,000/pmt (Ex works) in Raipur,” said
a Raipur based trader.
“The market for Structure is
very dull as there is no sales. Raipur market has dominated the others by
quoting marginally lower prices and is supplying the required materials. This
will continue for around a week more. Hyderabad Structure prices is trading at
Rs. 40,500/pmt (Basic prices),” remarks a trader from Hyderabad.
Market players are
anticipating a dull market for Mumbai Structure also till the end of the current
month.
“The demand for Structure is
weak in Nagpur. People do not have much of funds for buying because of March
end . Prices have gone up surprisingly, buyers wonder if prices will go up
further or correct slightly. Market seems to be unpredictable keeping buyers
undecisive,” said trader from Nagpur.
