Tokyo Steel Scrap purchase Prices rebound by $ 6/MT

It's reported that Japanese Tokyo Steel has revised
the purchase price for scrap at its all units by US$ 6/MT (JPY 500/MT) except
Takamatsu unit, effective from March 22. It has recently cut its scrap purchase
prices by US$ 6/MT on March 12.

After the hike in prices, its latest HMS 2
scrap purchase prices are at an average of US$ 405-420/MT (JPY 33,500-34,500/MT).

Following are the current purchase price (plant
wise) for HMS 2 (Unit: JPY/MT):

Okayama: 34,000-34,500

Kyushu: 34,000-34,500

Takamatsu: 32,500

Tahara: 34,500

Utsunomiya: 33,500
