“Wire Rod in Raipur saw a decent demand but from the end
users only. Prices have fallen by Rs. 350/MT but stockiest are not willing to
buy at these levels.
We are anticipating that the Wire Rod prices quoted with a
correction of Rs. 37,800/MT (Basic price) will come down further within a week's
time and stockiest would start to enter markets,” said a trader from the city.
Binding Wire (20 Guage) is traded at Rs. 42,800/MT (Basic
price), down by Rs. 850/MT whereas GI Wire (12 Guage) is offered at a fall of
Rs. 450/MT at Rs. 43,200/MT (Basic price).
