According to preliminary custom data, Brazil’s Manganese Ore export witnessed a substantial fall of 42% on M-o-M basis to 0.12 MnT in Mar’17 as compared to the previous month. In Feb’17 Brazilian Manganese Ore exports were recorded at 0.20 MnT.
Moreover on yearly basis, Brazil manganese Ore exports are down by 36% in Mar’17 against 0.18 MnT in Mar’16.
China: Biggest importer of Brazilian Manganese Ore in Mar’17
In Mar’17, China was the foremost buyer and imported 0.07 MnT, followed by Argentina and Panama. China imported 31% lower on M-o-M basis in Mar’17 against 0.103 MnT in Feb’17.
However, in Mar’16, France was the largest importer of Brazilian Manganese Ore followed by Argentina and China.
