“Re-bar prices across
India have increased in the range of Rs 400-500/MT supported by strong
demand and continuous rise in input cost like power, coal and iron ore.

trading volumes in Raipur will grow in this peak summer time. 12mm Re-bar in
Raipur is being offered at Rs 39,600/MT (Basic price),” quoted a Re-bar
manufacturer based in Raipur.
“12mm Re-bar prices in Mumbai
have jumped by Rs 500/MT to Rs 39,900/MT (Basic price). We expect prices to go
up in the range of Rs 200-300/MT as trading volumes are high,” said a trader
from Mumbai.
“The Hyderabad
Re-bar market is surprisingly dull on Monday and buyers are least bothered
about the minimum correction. We have received a handful of calls for today's trade. 12mm Re-bar prices have corrected by Rs. 200/MT at Rs 41,500/MT (Basic price). We expect
further correction in prices to pick up demand,” remarked a trader from the
city.
