India’s largest steel maker – JSW Steel has achieved 100% production guidance of 15.75 MnT given in beginning of FY17. In its latest press release, the steel maker reported crude steel production of 15.8 MnT in FY17, up by 26% Y-o-Y. In previous fiscal, JSW Steel’s crude steel output stood at 12.56 MnT.
Its flat steel production grew 23% Y-o-Y to 11.41 MnT in FY17. And its long steel production increased by 18% Y-o-Y to 3.21 MnT in FY17.
JSW Steel records highest monthly crude steel output in Mar’17 – The steel giant has also achieved highest ever monthly crude steel output of 1.45 MnT in Mar’17.

JSW Steel’s crude steel output jumps 6% Q-o-Q – The steel maker produced 4.1 MnT crude steel in Q4 FY17 up 6% Q-o-Q. In Q3 FY17, it produced 3.86 MnT crude steel. However on yearly premises, production has gone up by 28% as in Q4 FY16 the figure was at 3.21 MnT.
