“Chattisgarh power prices are expected to go up by 20%-25% in
the mid of April which would support the steel prices.
Raipur Re-bar is
being offered in the range of Rs 38,800-39,000/MT (Basic price). There are a
handful of buyers on account of the falling steel prices as they expect further
correction.
The prices of coal
have increased alongwith power prices. But looking at the cost factor, prices
are anticipated to sustain at these levels,” said a trader from Raipur.
Chennai Re-bar prices saw a correction of Rs 800/MT and is
trading at Rs 46,300/MT (Basic price).
Re-bar trading prices in Hyderabad noticed a downtrend by Rs
300/MT at Rs 40,500/MT (Basic price).
