Indian Billet prices stable amid thin trading volumes

Indian Billet manufacturers kept their offers unchanged on low trading volumes. With volatility in Steel Futures, buyers are not in a hurry to place orders.

“Trade volumes have been low for the last few days on high volatility in Indian Steel Futures and festive season. We might see some direction this week,” said a Rourkela based Billet broker.

“Currently prices are hovering around Rs 33,00/MT (Basic price),” he further added.

“Manufactures ar Raipur kept their offers unchanged at Rs 34,000-34,200/MT (Ex-Works) and Ex-Raigarh is offered at Rs 33,500/MT,” market sources told SteelMint.
