Indian domestic rebar market is progressively increasing for the last couple of days . With the weekend end approaching the rebar market has further seen a marginal hike of INR 100-200/MT.
The current offer prices for 12 mm rebar are assessed – at INR 32,000-32,200/MT Ex-Raipur, INR 31,400-31,600/MT Ex-Durgapur, INR 33,700-33,900/MT Ex- Delhi, INR 32,000/MT Ex-Mumbai and INR 33,000-33,200/MT Ex-Chennai.
The Indian rebar prices are presently at all time high level which is approximately 26 month’s above. The same price range was last seen in Dec’14.
The rebar price gain is supported by favorable demand with good conversion spread amid significant increase in raw material & billet prices.
