After Serajuddin Mines announced price hike of up to INR 400/MT yesterday, some more major merchant miners have raised iron ore prices.
Other miners who have also raised iron ore prices are Rungta Mines, KJS Ahluwalia and Kaypee Enterprises. They have increased lump prices by INR 300-400/MT and fines prices by INR 150/MT.
Miners have raised prices on the back drop of sharp increase in sponge offers. It is to be noted that C-DRI prices in eastern India have moved up by about INR 2,000/MT M-o-M.
