Offer prices for
ferrous scrap imported into India remain firm as increased freight cost for
material booked in April continues to influence the market, say market
participants.
Shredded material in containers was heard being offered at $490-495/MT
CFR Nhava Sheva, i.e. unchanged from a week ago and there are few offers for shredded on East coast of India at $510/MT.But no deals have heard to be concluded at these rates.
HMS 1&2 (80:20) was also
being offered at the same prices as a week ago, at $465-475/MT CFR Nhava Sheva.
