Merchant power tariff may go up 

According Dr Pramod Deo, Chairman of Central Electricity
Regulatory Commission, the merchant power tariff may increase this summer,
largely due to rise in fuel cost.

“We are monitoring the merchant tariff. The tariff is
showing a tendency to move up when compared to the last season. However, I
cannot tell to what extent should it rise,” Dr Deo told newspersons in Kolkata.
