Market for Silico
manganese remain stable with unchanged prices and slightly weak demand.
SiMn 60-14 in
Durgapur is quoted at Rs 59,000-60,000/MT, i.e. the same level seen at the
beginning of this week.
According to market
players, some selling pressure is being felt as end-users demand is weak. Lack of
big volume enquiries in the last two weeks has made it difficult for
traders and producers to push for higher bids.
However, prices of silico manganese may go up if demand comes from overseas market. But until then the pressure is likely to build up
on producers and they may have to accept lower bids in order to sell more in domestic market
rather than wanting to wait for overseas enquiries.
