Steel Authority of India Limited (SAIL) is likely to export 30,000 MT over rolled slab to Thailand. The material will be shipped in the month of Apr’17. As per market sources report to SteelMint, the deal was settled at below USD 400/MT, FoB India.
CIS slab export offers up by USD 10/MT W-o-W – Slab export offers from CIS nations have moved up marginally this week by USD 10/MT. Presently export offers from CIS nations are assessed in the range of USD 410-420/MT, FoB Black Sea. Last week offers were hovering in the range of USD 400-410/MT, FoB Black Sea.
Brazilian slab exports have increased by 19% M-o-M in Jan’17. Brazil exported 0.69 MnT slab in Jan’17 against 0.58 MnT in Dec’16.
