Rashtriya Ispat Nigam Limited (RINL), also known as Vizag Steel is a navratna PSE under the ministry of steel, has invited a tender for export of 11,008 MT billet followed by 5,504 MT bloom and 5,504 MT wire rod coil to Nepal. The minimum offered quantity is 2,752 MT for all three products.
As per the delivery schedule, Vizag steel shall deliver the billet till 31 Mar’17. The delivery basis is Ex-plant, Visakhapatnam.
Destination: Nepal
The offer given by the bidder will remain valid till 3 Mar’17.

The length of the billet and bloom is 12 meters approximately and billet packaging will be in bundles of weight 6 MT to 12 MT while bloom packing is loose. The wire rod will be available in coils of weight approx. 1.2 to 2.0 MT each, as per availability.
If the total requirement of the bidder for a destination for a single product is less than 1 rack then combined bidding with one additional bidder is allowed, subject to the bidding being done for a single product. Maximum number of bidders allowed to bid for a single destination is two only.
Tender schedule (IST): Due date for bid submission is 24 Feb’17 till 11:00 hrs.
