TMT prices correct by Rs 300/MT in Ahmedabad and is being offered at Rs 39,500/MT (Basic price).
Pune and Jalna markets also saw Re-bar prices reducing by Rs 500/MT at Rs 40,500/MT and 38,000/MT and Rs 200/MT repectively.
Raipur, Rourkela, Mumbai, Hyderabad and Chennai Re-bar is being offered on previous trading prices only.
“Finished markets in almost all the places witness few trades as there is shortage of labour due to summer heat. Hence, action in the construction sector is less. Other factors such as low supply of water and sand, rise in sand prices and power cut issues add to dull markets,” report market players.
