NTPC Invites EOI For Establishing Integrated Cement Plant

NTPC Limited is the largest thermal power generating company in the country, invited an Expression of Interest (EOI) from interested parties for establishing integrated cement plant/ cement clinker grinding unit/ cement blending unit/ allied products manufacturing unit of 1 MTPA or higher capacity in adjacent to NTPC power plant on “Built, Own and Operate (BOO)/ Joint Venture (JV) mode”.

NTPC produces approximately 65 MnT Ash annually, out of which 80% is Fly Ash. Presently, company is utilizing the Ash in land development, Ash dyke raising, road/rail embankments, bricks/block/tiles industries & cement industries etc. Now they intends to increase its Ash utilization by inviting this EOI.

Some of the NTPC’s coal based thermal plants has been considered in this EOI for establishment of cement manufacturing unit or any allied product manufacturing unit. Interested parties may examine and indicate one or more power stations from the below list.

In the bid preparation, interested parties can clearly indicate the inputs required from NTPC for following setup and submit bid document in hard copy on or before 10 Mar’17, 17:00 hrs (IST).
