Vizag Steel, a leading state owned Pig iron producer and exporter, has re-issued an export tender of 20,000 MT basic grade steel making Pig iron.
It is to be noted that the company had canceled its last tender for 20,000 MT steel grade Pig iron which got expired on 19 Jan’17. Company had received good response on that tender but shortlisted bidder failed to submit the bank guarantee (BG) on time hence company canceled the tender and re-issued a fresh one.
The delivery of the material is scheduled up to 15 Mar’17. Bidders can keep their offer firm and valid for acceptance by RINL until 27 Feb’17.
Synopsis of the tender
Carbon: 3.5-4.5 %
Manganese: 0.50% max
Silicon: 1.0% max
Phosphorus: 0.12% max
Sulphur: 0.05% max
Loading port: Vishakhapatnam Port or Gangavaram Port, India
Destination: Any county other than banned countries.

Another Indian Pig iron export tender by one of the largest trading house-MMTC is in pipeline. The company has issued an export tender around 30,000 MT Pig iron which is going to expire on 21 Feb’17.
